What I’m Listening To, 7/21/2017

This week my wife and I did a little traveling to see some family. I listened to some older songs and some newer (to me) stuff. It seems like there’s much anticipation for something to release that will stick to my ear for more than a week.

Hurt By You, Emily Warren (Single Explicit)

The voice behind many of the hits from The Chainsmokers, Emily Warren’s voice is proving to be magnetic. This song highlights the undying commitment a person can have for someone else – even if it means being hurt by them. There’s a lot of gospel in that.

Levitate, Imagine Dragons (Single)

This single is on the soundtrack of the motion picture Passengersstarring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. My wife and I just watched this movie after we returned and I heard the song on the closing credits. More great work from these guys.

Judo, Andy Mineo & Wordsplayed (Single)

Still waiting on the album Magic Bird, Andy Mineo and Wordsplayed teases us with another single from the album.

Satellite Kite, Beautiful Eulogy (Album)

This was smooth and thought-provoking tunes to listen to while flying. I hadn’t listened to this album in a while, but glad I did.

I am very curious to hear what you’ve been listening to this week. I’m on the lookout for some great music and podcasts. Let me know!
